A Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Garden

Who We Are

Footprints in the Field in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, was created to mark the lives of all of the little ones lost in pregnancy or soon after birth.

We are here for you.

If you or a loved one experienced pregnancy and/or early infant loss, we are here to provide you with a beautiful space to honor your baby and your grief. Footprints in the Field is a garden on the grounds of Harvest Fields in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, created to remember and provide validation that your babies existed, mattered, and are not forgotten. Regardless of your religious or spiritual beliefs, we invite you to visit the garden to reflect, mourn, and heal.

Our Mission

Losing a baby affects many generations of families. Spearheaded by Cathy Holsing and inspired by her grandson, Josiah Emmanuel, Footprints in the Field is a place for generations of families to rest in healing and peaceful surroundings. When you lose a child, you and your family will be forever changed. The mission of Footprints in the Field is to provide support and healing as well as helping to mark this change.

Memorial Stones

Footprints in the Field includes a place for families to dedicate river rocks to their babies and know that they are not alone. The rocks will be inscribed to honor a baby and then placed in the Garden or taken home.
